Derry
I pulled my skimmer out today while installing a new sump and saw this in the pump housing. I've had the tank for about two years, and I had NO idea this guy was living in my skimmer chamber.
+mcallahan
That's great! I actually had a LTA that disappeared from my tank and I found it a month later living 1" above the intake on my skimmer. Somehow it managed to not get sucked in the pump sitting right below it AND it lived and grew under the home depot el cheapo light I use in my fuge. Nice find! JamesL
I hope you put that little guy in your sump, and not the main tank. It looks like it has pointy claws, which normally means not-so-nice. (Don't want to scare you! Just mentioning ).
Derry
Oh, WAY ahead of you, there! Shortly after I got this tank, I lost three fish and a fire shrimp to a hitchhiker crab that took me three months to catch. This one looks like a baby Xanthid, so in the sump he stays!
