muddybluewater
I am getting 3-4 gallons of evaporation per day and it is putting too much moisture into my house. I want to see if anyone has a chiller for sale that would handle about 150g of total water volume.
don duncan
I have a new in box 1/3 drop in chiller from tradewind chillers. I don't remember what I paid for it, but if you are interested in it I can check. It is still under warranty. You can even extend the warranty. AlexKilpatrick
That seems like a lot of evaporation for a 150. I have a 150 and I get about a gallon per day, with an open top. Do you have a lot of air movement over the tank?

I can't afford a new one right now, but will keep it in mind if nothing else turns up. That seems like a lot of evaporation for a 150. I have a 150 and I get about a gallon per day, with an open top. Do you have a lot of air movement over the tank? I have 2 large fans blowing across the tank and one on the sump. I have 750w total light on my 120g. The 150 number came from adding in the sump volume.
muddybluewater
Got one, thanks. Temps now range form 78.2-79.4, I don't know about the evaporation yet and might adjust the temps down a little more but want it to be a slow change.
