Christyef
This is my starfish Lieutenant Dan. He lost a leg several months ago. The leg walked around on its own so I put the loan leg and Lieutenant Dan in a tank alone without my harlequin shrimp... The leg is now growing a new starfish!!! How freaking cool is that!!?!?! Gig 'em @ NDstructible
If only Lt. Dan had that skill too [emoji23]. Pretty neat, I guess you can be our resident starfish farmer!
Christyef
I have harlequin shrimp and looked into getting a chocolate chip star and taking off legs to feed them. When I read I'd have to use bone cutters to remove the leg I IMMEDIATELY decided that was not an option for me..... +KimP
Lol at the name, that's awesome I always thought some of the main body had to be attached for the leg to grow a whole new starfish. That's really amazing!
