FarmerTy
It creeped me out late last night thinking about how much saltwater I've siphoned with a hose over the years.

Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Shoot, just take a loot at whats living in a rain drop or a puddle of water on the ground! The variety of sheer population number of microfauna in the world is outstanding. Literally EVERYWHERE, especially in water. I would imagine we can find hundreds if not thousands of species in our tanks.
FarmerTy
Not mine, I dip everything. It's a vast empty wasteland. [emoji12]
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
You've probably selectively killed off all the beneficial microbes and all that's left are indestructible mutants that will one day destroy everything in your tank

10gReef
Anyone have or have access to a high power microscope? Would be fun for the next meeting if we brought samples from each of our tanks to compare, or just to get to see in person.

Dan H
That's so cool. I wonder how powerful a microscope they were using, and how much that would cost. I could see easily geeking out over that for hours and hours.
