ceastman
so any secret on getting one of those 1/4" water lines to stay connected to an ato metering pump?
FarmerTy
What are you trying to do exactly? The pump showed is meant to be put in your ATO reservoir. Are you trying to connect it directly to the RO line coming out of your RO/DI system?
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
I agree with Ty on determining what exactly you are trying to accomplish first. However, the top looks a lot like a pump I use in environmental sampling and this is a picture of how I connect 1/4 tubing to a larger connection by using different sizes of tubing to step down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Juiceman
The Black tubing that comes with it should just fit in very snug. I don't have an issues with it coming out. Does it not stay in?
ceastman
I have these pumps in my rodi reservoir bucket. so when my apex detects my sump is low it turns this pump on to add rodi water to the sump. gig'em yep that looks like what I got, just my tubing has popped out. I have another pump but I was able to find a small plastic insert that I put into the tubbing that was hollow but it expanded the tubing a bit so it doesn't pop off the pump when then pump turns on. jestep
If you're not using the stock tubing which fits fairly snugly, you might try dipping the tubing in some boiling water for a few seconds and stretch it over the entire outlet piece. Assuming you're using vinyl or silicon tubing and not something rigid like RO tubing.
ceastman
I didn't get any tubing with the replacement pump, just the pump and the electrical connection.
FarmerTy
Tunze is located in town. I'd just give them a call and they'll probably just give you the tubing or pieces needed to make it fit.

victoly
i think a 1/2 john guest fits on the hard plastic. if you get a 0.5 to .25 reducer you can use plain old poly 0.25" on it
Reburn
1/4 John guest fits in the inside fine. Just remove the little sleeve and push it in.
