What Seven Years at the Bottom of the Sea Does to a Shipping Container

Don't forget that the zinc-based paint may be toxic to soft corals... hence why they may not be growing on the container. It's not all win-win with this, though it is interesting to see it has hardly corroded because of the freezing temperatures and low oxygen.

Eventually you'd think the zinc based paints will be covered up or just leach into the ocean allowing the sponges and other soft corals to colonize it.

I was kinda hoping the ROV would open up the container in the video and see all the stuff pour out. The mystery is killing me!dribble.gif
