Teresa
I have a BMLED on my 55 gal. Its about 3yrs old. A month ago I noticed the lights would flicker slightly. Now they come on and about 15 minutes later turn off. Is it overheating? Anything I can try before reaching out to BMLED dirctly? +KimP
My kessils do this when they need to be cleaned. Have you already tried cleaning it, maybe with some compressed air in the groves on top? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Teresa
Oh, thanks! I'll try that. Now how do I generate compressed air? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
+KimP
It comes in a can like WD40, you can get it almost anywhere. I always pick it up at the hardware store. I'm sure anywhere they sell electronics they'd sell it too.

Teresa
I'm going to contact them tomorrow. I cleaned the outside and its free of salt creep and dust. Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem. I'll post here once I have a resolution in case anyone else experiences something similar in the future. BornToHula
Do you have yours running on a dimmer or anything? Mine was experiencing some flicker while ramping up and down using an Apex. Turns out the connections between the dimming cable and the receptor on the power block were dirty and needed to be cleaned.
Teresa
Brought it to BML in south austin. They fixed it overnight for me since I was concerned with the long weekend coming. They replaced the power module and the light works like new. Great customer service! Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
