FarmerTy
Thought it'd be a fun idea to know what your fellow reefers might be up to on the weekends. Post your "to do" lists on this thread for the weekend. What is even more fun is to check Monday morning and see what actually got done! Bpb
That's a massive to do list Ty. Seeing as I don't work on the tank on weekends, I'll say Tuesday/Wednesday is my weekend. My goal: Swap out the mh for the LEDs. Get the big toadstool out of the tank Swap out jaebo return pump for an eheim Trim and water change the planted tank. Order new impeller for canister filter

jestep
Soak 2 pumps in vinegar. Change out PO4 media. Pick up coral for other ARC members. Water change in FW tank. Best bet is that I'll pick up the coral and probably get to the GFO.

FarmerTy
I imagine farmer Ty will be getting a couple of mini colonies ready =(;-D) They're in observation right now in the frag area. I like to make sure my corals are in good condition before they move out on their own.

+boognish
With the daughter's swim meet, coaching sons hockey game, and 2 games for myself, I am setting the bar pretty low this weekend: - Water change (not so quick and easy because I can't mix water with a car in the garage now) - Start bio-pellets (any words of wisdom are welcome) - Frag up a frag that is STN-ing from the bottom - Move/mount some frags form the biocube to the display tank

Make sure they tumble nicely, good rolling tumble but not too violent... make sure you start with 1/2 the recommended amount on the bottle and slowly add more after a month or so if needed. Make sure the output is either plumbed directly to the skimmer (a pvc T-fitting works great) or at least in the skimmer compartment in your sump.Hopefully that's not one of my frags STNing. I'm a big fan of superglueing the STNing flesh and a little above it too stop the STN.
+SChrisEV
1. Swap out Dart/Snapper impeller 2. Add gate valve to one overflow drain to play with herbie method 3. FINALLY get ATO hooked up and working with new sump 4. Reprogram display circulation pumps 5. Build lid for overflow to stop Blue-dot from jumping into it! 6. Perform water tests 7. Build frag rag grid to fit nicely in frag section of sump 8. Build box to mount APEX and modules in to ensure no water splash 9. Plumb bio pellet reactor into manifold 10. ... and so much more.

Hmmm. Might not get that done this weekend since I need to figure out how to plumb it into an ASM G2 skimmer. Hopefully that's not one of my frags STNing. I'm a big fan of superglueing the STNing flesh and a little above it too stop the STN. It is... I'm going to frag the tips that aren't affected yet and glue them to a new plug. So far, other than some color loss on the Hawkins and Cali Tort, all are doing fine.
