My turn for a tank move - This Saturday!!!

I know it's not much notice but I just got word from Travis that my tank will be delivered at Niko's tomorrow.

Pick up will be at Niko's say around 2pm (if everyone can make that time) on Saturday, March 28th. Can push to Sunday if not everyone can make it on Sat.

Delivery in north Round Rock off University Blvd.

Tank is 72" x 27". I had this same tank in my last house and was able to move with 4 people total.

I don't think we'll need more than 4 volunteers.

I'm going to try to just rent a small uhaul truck so we can get everything in it rather than trying to round up an additional truck.

Figured we could do pizza this time since the last two were BBQ.

Ty, can I borrow your tie straps? I've got a furniture dolly if we decide to roll it inside.

Should be able to make this one, will confirm Friday.

I drive an F250, but I don't know that will the rolling bed cover I have 67" to the gate. If you don't mind the back 6" or so on the gate you won't need the trailer.

WOOHOO...another successful tank move! Thanks to "Jason & Amber", Jason (nvrEnuf) and Lara (TheOceanTraveler) and my non-reefer friends and the guys at Niko's!!!

I love this set up. I had this same tank in my house in Hutto but didn't have the stand hood. Great build quality on them. DSA does a great job!!!

Setting it up so that it separates the computer desk from the living room area...kinda.

you're welcome James, it was a pleasure meeting you and everyone else.

The tank looks AWESOME in person, even empty, and even while being told not to imagine coral in it!

LOL...sometimes you gotta follow your heart. :-)

HA...yep I figured I could kill two birds with one stone and cut down on my funeral expenses. I'd thought of doing discus but decided I didn't want to have to do so many water changes. More amazon...angels, tetras, maybe some rainbows, etc.
