MINI
updateI bridged my router so that I won't have to mess with TWC's modem. This also changed my external IP address, so if anyone would like to watch my fig tree grow it is now at http://173.174.76.86:50200/user: adminpassword: passwordYou can follow the steps in post #24 or simply do the following to bypass TWC's modem1) Log into the router at http://192.168.0.1/user: adminpassword: password2) LAN >> Under NAT select "Bridged"Once you save the settings, the TWC's modem page will not refresh like you think it will and the modem is no longer accessible unless you do a hard reset. Sorry to jack your thread and turn it into a networking tutorial

Makena95GT
You can remotely turn on the led light on the phone to see a tad better
FarmerTy
Makena, you can flip it on/off all you want at 6am, I won't even be functional awake to ever see it. Yeah, you won't get much action on the lights until this evening... 4:30pm-1am. Sent via Tapatalk

victoly
Just a reminder, change your default passwords and make it unique to this device. If you broadcast your IP, and use a similar password to your Apex, for example, best case scenario I get in there and make your tank strobe. Worst case someone with nefarious intentions messes up your tank. Not a likely scenario, for sure, but a little safety here could go a long way.
FarmerTy
Yeah, there was much talk this morning about a Russian website that was posting streams of webcams from users that kept the default password setup. There were a lot of streams that originated from the US on the website.
jestep
Just saw this article and thought of this. Although, who really cares if someone is spying on your fish, but creepy nonetheless.

FarmerTy
Just saw this article and thought of this. Although, who really cares if someone is spying on your fish, but creepy nonetheless. I've heard some people enjoy looking at the back of my head as I feed my fish. LOL!
