eaglesnest71405
Is this normal the smaller clams I have don't have holes but this one has a hole in the front. Is this normal or is it damaged. Last question is there something I can do
FarmerTy
That's the inhalent siphon. All clams have one but it may he more or less pronounced depending on the species or even depending on activity. The clam looks fine. FarmerTy
Their preference is to be attached to rock instead of on the sand, though typically they'll do fine on the substrate too. Sent via Tapatalk
eaglesnest71405
Oh should I just set it up in the rock work. They move around this space in the substrate so I never thought to move them in the rocks. I should just set them in the rock but not glue them down correct? FarmerTy
If you have a small flat rock, I'd just lay it on that for a bit and when it attaches, then move it into the rockwork. If it's doing fine in the sand and sitting still, then just leave him be. Sent via Tapatalk
