KKaiser4
Just setup this 40 Gallon Breeder frag tank for my wife and built a custom frag rack for it. It has a 65 gal sump under it and a Maxspect Razor 120W over it. Turned out really well so far! Time to start fragging! Thanks for looking! KKaiser4
Haha amphitheater, I love it! Thank you, yes I built it out of pvc and eggcrate. It was so much fun I might start building them as a side job!
Jellyfish
So how exactly did your wife get you to make this for her. I need to know so I can use it on my husband, all he ever says is "How much did you spend!!"
Jellyfish
You did a great job. I'm keeping this post in mind when I have some frags, if I get ever so lucky
KKaiser4
Actually we were out frag and fish shopping and she said she wanted her own tank. So I jumped at the opportunity! We decided on a frag tank!

jodythefishguy
That rack is awesome!! What would something like that run a consumer?
KKaiser4
Let Me know what size and shape you are thinking and I'll work you up a quote. For that size probably $75-$100. The worst part is the black egg crate is almost $30 a sheet! White is cheaper. Thanks for the compliment!!
Wryknow
Where exactly does one find black egg crate? I went looking for egg crate at Lowe's today and they didn't even have the white stuff!
FarmerTy
I don't know of any place local. Brs sells it in 2' by 2' sheets amongst other places that carry it online. Sent via Tapatalk
SAM
I bought mine from home depot and it's call light diffuser and it comes in white only. You just need to spray paint it black. Only coated me around $10 for 2 x 5 piece
Makena95GT
Exactly what sam said. Itll be in the area where you find commercial lighting type stuff. In the back, kinda close to the plywood. Near the doors and whatnot
Wryknow
Thanks - found it at Home Depot.
