Wade
I'm setting up my new Apex automatic feeder and plan to use The Thera + A small sinking pellets that I typically feed. My question is how much is enough? I know that's relative to my fish population which is 5 fish all under 4 inches (Tang about 3.5", clown about 3", Convict blenny (about 6" but he's all tail), blue chromis about 2.5", six line wrasse about 2". One rotation of the feeder drops about 100 pellets. I'm thinking that's plenty. I typically feed just once a day and that's how I'll set it while on vacation. I know some fish will be greedier than others so will get more, but that should be plenty for all. I plan to use a floating ring to keep the food from being carried away before it sinks. What do you think?
sethsolomon
That should work. But ideally you want to shoot for matching your feeding schedule as close as possible.
Juiceman
I have mine on the lowest setting feeding once a day with 2 revolutions. I'm feeding 9 large Tangs and 2 Wrasses. But I don't use it to fill them up.
