Thanks for letting me stare at pretty SPS until mine come back to me! About time on the build thread Sam! Thanks Ty, I've being just too lazy but figure I needed to start documenting some of these coral. It's getting too hard to keep track of all the coral names in my head. I figure writing it down and storing it online somewhere would be better. lol Sorry about the horrible phone camera pic, lol.
Reburn
Sam good to see your doing a build thread. I think you should charge admission to see your tank. It's like a 4 yr old going into a candy store and pictures don't do it justice. . It really is jaw dropping.

SAM
Wow, your tank looks amazing! Great job. Those are some nice chalices. Good to see a tank like this lit by leds Thanks Kim. Really enjoy all the options that come with the LED. Only thing is price. Really tempted to try a cheaper version of LED . just ordered a apogee mq200 to test the PAR. I had being using these for 2+yrs. Also for security measure, just wanna see when I will start losing PAR from these radion. Yet I only have them on 80% intensity so perhaps they will last longer. My fear is Radion has only being out so long and I even went on their forum on R2R and asked about the longevity of the LED with no luck for a proper answer....I guess I gotta do my own experiment. SAM
For anyone interested in the PAR, I'll be documentating the PAR in my tank. From another reefer in Reef Central did a research on the amount of PAR lost over one year period, it was like ~2% I figure according to that calculation and running my LED at 80%.....with minor tuning on the intensity each year, these Radion 2 should last around 10yrs before it's lost the amount of PAR I need for my tank. This is all theory though base on another reefer research.
