bigmike015
Don't know what happened, but came home after a day of work to see my tank completely black! Checked the breaker, it was good, check the power strip it was plugged in to and it was off. Turned it back on and everything came back on. A day later was looking in the tank and noticed that the little sps corals that I got from ty. I've tried sps before and no luck, except this coral. 2 days later this is what I get and just hoping it didn't get the others also! Before After Sad day!!! Sherita
Every time I see a post with this title I read it as Power OUTRAGE (don't ask). In this case, the perceived title is very much correct. Boo.

Sherita
Child proof locks on the stand. Losing something you have worked so hard to grow is awful. Heck, I had a little stick frag (twig?) die and it upset me.
Juiceman
It's possible the power strip got overloaded and turned off also. Happened to me until I split things between afew strips Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bigmike015
I don't think so, I haven't changed anything since I set this 90 gallon up. I'm still doing research!
SHALAKO
IMO, replace the power strips at least every 2 years. If you look under Great or Hot deals, there are some power strips at New Egg that have individual on/off switches for $10... I have some extra purple SPS you can have for free, if you want to replace yours...just PM me.
