Bpb
This is one of my original rocks in the tank. 2 years in my care. Never seen this macro in my tank before. No idea what it is. It's very pretty. Pic looks a little blue. In real life it's bright pink. Just being shaded by the acro.
+KimP
I have one that looked like that for a while and eventually turned into red grape caulerpa. Mine's not bright pink, it's darker but it's in full light, not shaded.
Bpb
Cool. That's a somewhat attractive macro. Wonder how it got in and rooted right under this old acro that's been there forever. As you can see in the pic I've already got copious amounts of halimeda on that rock. If I had a bigger tank if isolate it entirely as the macro rock in the tank, and get a couple more different ones. Real estate is tight in a 55 though
subsea
I continue to be amazed at how things appear from no where. While the color is not right, the shape looks like Codium. Patrick PS. I have had both red grapes and dragons breath emerge from rocks that I had for over five years. I triggered the event by moving the rock to a different tank with different lighting.
