cflo559
Looking to cover the bottom of my bare bottom 24 gallon tank with GSP and snowflake clove polyps. Preferably pieces that aren't attached to big rocks if possible. Or if anyone has some other quick growing colorful polyps or even richordea. Thanks. victoly
Steer clear of bcp. They will ruin your day.
cflo559
Why do you say that? I've never had them be a nuisance.
victoly
They reproduce at will and send babies everywhere. They are impossible to eradicate (IME) biologically. Ended up having to dose with some pretty gnarly stuff to get rid of them.
Mo'sMyName
Agreed, I'm have a tough time with snowflake polyps, at least with GSP you can peel the mat off easily.
Jimbo662
best to keep them on a rock off to themselves so they don't spread.
victoly
BCP will spread at will, across the tank, they're not a continuous grower like GSP.

victoly
In a 24 gallon (or 29 gallon), that wouldn't work. Cool that you found something that will eat them though, although I wouldn't count on every copperband doing that.

If it were by the polyp I'd be retiring.
+etannert
I have plenty of GSP... come 'n' get it!
cflo559
Regardless... I still want some clove polyps and as much gsp as possible. I have a bare bottom tank that I'm looking to cover with gsp and other polyps to make it look like a field of grass with plants and stuff all over it. I've never had a problem with cloves taking over so if anyone has any of these "pests" I'll be pleased to take them off your hands.
+KimP
I have a good sized piece of blue clove polyps. I live way south though. Pm me if interested.
