FarmerTy
Do you have a picture of the full colony of the northern lights? Best pic I have on my phone. Dark green base with bright baby blue tips, hence the name northern lights.

Gig 'em @ NDstructible
That ORA red planet is something else. It's colors are so unbelievably bright and vivid, it may be my favorite coral. Whoever gets their hands on it at C4 is a lucky person

That's a goniopora... most reefers have a hard time keeping these guys alive sadly.

That's a goniopora... most reefers have a hard time keeping these guys alive sadly. Ive had one for at least 8 months. NEVER open more than 1/4" and hasn't grown any. Do you have to spot feed it?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FarmerTy
I don't spot feed any of them but my large tank ecosystem is probably different than smaller tanks. There's probably more plankton in it as a whole. I've heard feeding microfoods helps indirectly but feeding too much fouls water quality very easily. Gonis also have a lot of variation on how long the tentacles are so yours may only reach that far when happiest.
Christyef
Ah. Didn't think of that, but I think it was longer when I got it... Was long ago so maybe I'm wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

FarmerTy
Tried a 4k video this time instead of 1080p at 60fps. The 4k video is only at the standard 30 fps. Not sure if higher resolution versus lower framerate looks better to me or higher framerate but lower resolution... https://youtu.be/7U6KojM5C6A
FarmerTy
It sounds like time for an experiment! I'll try to record essentially the same video in both modes and see the results. [emoji4]
