+Mlaw Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 I've been watching my juvenile lyretail hogfish clean my hippo tang (so cool) and started wondering if part of my problem with my prior juvenile hogfish was a lack of parasites to clean/eat. I can't find any info online telling me what the juveniles eat besides parasites. Any ideas? He does seem mildly interested in the krill I drop in but is shy and doesn't seem willing to chase after it when the other fish are feeding. The other fish go insane when I put it in the tank. I also tried freeze dried arctic pods. He seemed to be interested and they disperse into the water column well so I actually see him eat them.
