Victoria
This dude's been living in the same rock for I have no idea how long. He spooks at the slightest movement and he's wicked fast. Professor Google suggests that it's a Eunicid worm, but there are way more pics of worms that *don't* look like my freaky friend than there are pics that do. Anyone know for sure what it is? (Ignore the crappy hair algae ... I've got a lawnmower on order )
(Bio)³
I think your right. I looked at the one on http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchworms.html and it seems like what it is.

So I bug you here
Timfish
AKA kraken worm. If you want to get rid of it I'm interested in it. They have been accused of eating soft corals/polyps.
JamesL
They will trap snails in a "web". I had/have one in my 75g... it might have killed a clam also, but unsure if it was the main culprit.
Victoria
Well, he doesn't sound like much of a threat, then - I'm fine with snail loss now and then, and I don't keep softies, so he can stay. Especially because they sound like complete and total pains in the a$$ to catch!
