Feeding sun corals

I had a colony of sun polyp corals for about 5 years. It's a night filter feeder. You have to spot feed it with a turkey baster when it's open. Put a good amount of current on it but not facing it directly or it won't open. As far as I've experienced, the colony does share food. I've had polyps that almost never get any of the mixture and never seemed to fade or get smaller. I rotated mine every 2 weeks to make sure it grew in a nice round shape.
