airraider
Hello Everyone, I have a 100 gallon (60 inches wide) fish only talk with live rock. I want to upgrade my lighting to LEDs, but wanted some suggestions on what type and how much would do the job. Obviously I want to enhabce the viewing of the fish, but don't want them too bright to cause algae problems. Any suggestions or experiences you have had would be helpful. Thanks in advance! Timfish
I am really impressed with the colors buildmyled.com Custom Reef Sprectrum produces in reef tanks. I would think a 2' and a 3' with 75 degree optics would light up your tank pretty good. Obviously if you want to emphasize a different color you can build your own custom spectrum for bluer or redder or greener or oranger or . . . lighting
Juiceman
Yeah, I think that would be great for you since you won't need a whole lot of light for FOWLR
