Jimbo662 Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Do mushrooms and ricordea have the ability to move on their own or is it just the current that moves them? i put one of each in what i thought was a low flow area last weekend and when I got home today both had moved about 6 inches. Jimbo662 Posted November 23, 2012 Author Share Posted November 23, 2012 My troublesome mushroom is attached to a lot of tiny pieces of rubble (snail shells / pebbles) and apparently isn't heavy enough to keep him in one spot. is there a easy way to get him off this stuff so i can put him with some larger pieces to see if he'll attach to it? ClarkiiCircus Posted November 24, 2012 Share Posted November 24, 2012 you could gently just brush the tiny pieces off of his foot, dab it with a papertowel to gently dry it, and use either a coral glue or a gel super glue and glue him where you want in the tank or to a frag plug! Every time I've tried to glue a mushroom down they just slime over and shed the glue and drift off. I'd say glue one of the little shells or rubble he has attached to another larger piece of rock to hold him still. That has worked best for me. One of my mushrooms just went rogue but has ended up in the sand under a rock agains the glass in no flow and very little light. Lol best looking mushroom I have now.
