10gReef
I have an AOD transmission out of my '85 Bronco. I have it out and disassembled with all new parts ready to go back in. I had to move and don't have the tools or room to finish it. a local shop quoted me a minimum of $500 just to finish the assembly. only experienced personal please. let me know what you would charge or think I should expect to be charged. Thanks, Justin
DerrickH
Your best bet is to talk to the builders at a trans shop. They almost always will do work on the side. I used to do it, but I dont have my spring press, piston guides, or any of my snap ring plyers any more. I built transmissions for the better part of 10 years. Its easier than one thinks. Just have to pay attention to detail.
