kmacc05
I have a nikon d3100 that is able to record amazing 1080 video. Whenever i try to shoot my tank the colors never come the same. Only the greens come out decent, and they are only decent. I have seen videos on youtube where all colors pop and are extremely vibrant. I have messed with white balance but it doesnt seem to help. Anyone have any ideas on what to tweak to help these amazing colors that i can see be portrayed in video? This is an amazing video i would like to get close towww.youtube.com/watch?v=J1ik_SeNrmU
Timfish
I'm no photgrapjer but I would turn off all the lights in the room and try setting the white ballance with just the aquarium lights.
+Jakedoza
It is more than likely the AWB (Auto White Balance) going crazy trying to get a good balance on the light.. My video camera does this too.. Turn off awb..
kmacc05
I dont use awb because the light is so blue. But i have been trying to tweak the wb to a setting that works and cant seem to get it right. Just wondering if there are any rules of thumb to go by.
