Auto shutoff valve not working for RO/DI

I have a Maxxima RoDI unit that I purchased and installed an ASO on, however, when my reservoir float switch is closed waste water continues to run, what am I doing wrong here? I am wasting tons of water and have to remember to manually shut off the water each time (1st world problems)

Any ideas? I have checked the valve itself and it seems to be fine.but even upon inspection and reassembly it is still not shutting off supply water to the membrane.

that doesn't seem right....your incoming pressure should be like 40-50psi. Do you have a gauge that you can check your house pressure at a hose outlet? I'm a little surprised that you're even getting water through the RO membrane at all at 12 psi.

Had this same thing happen about 2-3 months ago. Internal diaphragm was stretched, everything looked fine to my eye. I have 47PSI, once I replaced the ASOV everything worked fine. I also replaced the check valve at the same time.
