+brian.srock
So now that this has been going on for a while and you've tried the other solutions why not give vodka dosing a try?
+Capt. Obvious
So now that this has been going on for a while and you've tried the other solutions why not give vodka dosing a try? for himself or for the tank? I also vodka dose (my display) and it has solved my issues as well
FarmerTy
If it's diatoms... I say do nothing. It'll pass. If it's dino's, then that's something else entirely.

victoly
picked up 2 small conchs at AD yesterday. We'll try livestock before i start getting my(self) tank drunk.
DerrickH
Is it "stringy"? If not then I say diatoms, if so then get ready for a hell of a ride...
victoly
it's not stringy, it's more of a covering. we'll see how she looks today after the conchs have done some mowing. I'm forever optimistic.
DerrickH
I think you will be alright, well your tank anyways lol. I still say test the tito's out a few times...not on the tank though...
George Monnat Jr
Good luck. My dino faded out after sparse feeding while I was gone for over a week. The cyano is still there, but I can get rid of it by siphoning about 2-3g per week (minor water changes, really). It's like picking up clothes before a guest comes over, before anyone can look at my DT I need to suck out the cyano. Did you hear anything on the city water quality? DerrickH
George do you feed a lot? Do you run a skimmer at all?
