RobR
Don't know if this is the right place to post this? Just replaced my bulbs on my T5 fixture and now I have a box full of old bulbs. I thought that Home Depot recycled fluorescent tubes but they only take cfl's.... So where do y'all take you old fluorescent tubes? Is there some where nearby that recycles these??? Thanks
fluffybeast
Home depot should take both types. Does Round Rock have a hazardous waste recycling facility? If so you can take them there (Austin's is near 71/I35, just east of that intersection on the south side). I would check with Goodwill also, they have good recycling ties because of the electronics. victoly
you have to have (or at least be able to fake) an austin zip code to use the austin haz waste facility. COA does accept florescent bulbs.
Timfish
Some lightbulb stores (American Light on Powell) will take bulk dead florescent bulbs but wiil charge (I don't know how much).
+Mitch
If you are coming to the frag swap, i would be happy to take them as i have a bundle of used bulbs which needs to get dropped off at COA's hazardous waste facility anyways. Btw, this offer is open to any one reading this.
