+Mitch
Enclosed the Tradewinds drop-in chiller with a nice box around it and so I could use the vertical space for storage: The eyesore: the box - i got lucky and the stain matches well with the tank cabinetry: drilled ventilation holes: cut out the back and bottom so it could slide around the chiller: chiller + box: voila!, no longer an eyesore:
(Bio)³
Did you notice any change in BTU load from the chiller when you applied the box? Also how hot doe it get inside the box?
+Mitch
Did you notice any change in BTU load from the chiller when you applied the box? Also how hot doe it get inside the box? The only measurement I took was cycle time with and without the box. If I recall it only increased <10%.

+brian.srock
Yea it is. I just got myself a little side cart to hide all my dosing and food items but not nearly as decorative as what you have.
+Mitch
I had been looking for some sort of cart or whatever that would straddle the chiller, but could never find one with the right dimensions. I got lucky with this one as I found it at the Rooms To Go store before it shut down.

sifuentes31
Hey bud, what's the GPH on the Panworld pump? I want to go external but not sure what will work for me. I'm finally putting my 150 together and haven't drilled the holes for the overflow yet. I'm going with the Glassholes 1500 gph kit. Any suggestions.... jestep
I lent my DSLR to a family member last year and it got broke on their trip. My rezound camera sucks compared to these. Colors and overall quality looks great.
