+Mitch
I originally started my tank back in Dec '09, and have had my run of problems being that this is my first saltwater tank. The last run of problems (Fall '11) was when my tank was hit with bryopsis, GHA, loss of corals, etc. Frustration levels peaked and I almost gave in. Fortunately after the holidays, I decided to not give up and decided to "start" over, so I pulled out as many of the offending rocks to bake, fragged off tips (tiny frags from 1/4" to as small as 1/8") from sps that had been smothered by GHA, treated the tank for bryopsis (Kent TechM & Algaefix), and let the tank sit until all was gone. I started slowly re-introducing rocks, and started accumulating corals along the way. In May, I decided to switch from T5's to LEDs, so I picked up 2 Apollo SolarBlast Dimmable lights. As with many things in this hobby, it's still a work in progress, but i'm gonna start documenting Version 2.0 in hopes of being able to see it's progress in the coming months, years. So to start here's a FTS: Btw, here's my original tank build thread: http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/16789-mitchs-90g-tank/ Edited May 21, 2013 by Mitch

+Mitch
My burgundy starfish severed it's own arm a while back when it got itself stuck in the overflow, and so here's the arm now growing into a new startfish: Btw, I thought a starfish could only do this if it still has part of the central disk, but this was clearly not the case as there was a stub where it detached from the original.
