ckyuv
i had a coralife timer on my old tank that started fire years ago and i never used a timer since. recently i purchased a new timer and im gonna give it a shot. How long do you guys run your lights for? i have a biocube with the pc's and 3 truelumen led strips. mixture of soft and stony corals. i have been doing lights on when i go to work and lights off when i get home but it fluctuates from 7 hours to 13 hours so i figured they would like consistency
Juiceman
I run my actinics for 10 hours and my whites for 8 hours. I have moonlights that I run a few hours before and after that.
JasonJones
It all depends on the intensity of your lighting. The higher the intensity, generally the shorter the photoperiod. Most people run between 8-12 hours. My lights are on for a total of 10 hours, however, I only have all the bulbs on for 5 hours during the middle of the day. With your lights, I would run closer to the 12 hour point because the CFs are not overly bright.
