Aqua Girl Posted April 14, 2012 Share Posted April 14, 2012 Just to give everyone an update: My name is Angela and I'm a senior at the University of Texas majoring in marine and freshwater science. I had a reef tank for a little while and turned it over to another fellow reefer before I began my current final semester due to the intensity of my program. I have met a lot of nice people here that are crazy enthusiastic about reef keeping which is really cool to someone who also loves the hobby and is generally interested in the science behind it all. So anyways my hard work is finally paying off, and I will be moving up to the Pacific Northwest in June to start my new job as a Marine Mollusc Taxonomist. Pretty cool huh? So basically I will get a decent salary to sit in a lab and identify bivalves and gastropods from all over the world.
