Juiceman
Update time, Corals are really starting to like the LED's I'm still only at 50% on the dials. I turned the blues down to take these pictures. For whatever reason the cameras can't handle the spectrum and show everything super blue. My Skimmer has broken in very well, I wasn't sure if it would work out when I first set it up but it's pulling some nice stuff out! My Linkias love each other! lol Got some cool stuff from rchavez and Hydro! My ORA Green and Pink Poccilapore on the right was completely bleached, It's coming back nice! Here's my 90 Gallon after I moved the 75g inhabitants into it. Everyone is doing well. I qt'd a Koran Angel for a few weeks and he's doing well in his new home. I went back to VHO's for this tank. I'm not going to house SPS in it. My Rose's like the VHO's better than the PC's. Trying to decide if I should keep them both or sell one of them. My clowns are in separate Anemones each night! Working on Beefing my SPS back up again. I'm adding stuff as I go.
All WYSIWYG
You can continue using both pumps and just install a ball valve on the Mag 18's output/return line. That way, you can control the amount of flow you want/need. +1 Great job man, looking good! I can get you any reeflo pump that would run everything that's external if you want. This way lots of the heat can dissapte in to the air instead of being absorbed by the water. I like the hammerhead, only uses 3 amps but can put out 6000 GPH. What's cool to is that if you put a ballvalve on and throttle it back it actually uses less power. For my new tank I actually got a reconditioned hammerhead and it was waaaaay cheaper. I never updated the return pump situation. I have since put a valve on the Mag 18 and it runs my Bio Pellets and GFO as well as return to the tank, and have a Mag 9.5 as the other pump, the chiller hasn't turned on since. I also don't have as much heat anymore since I removed the mag 5 and mag 2 that were running those reactors.
Juiceman
Troy (Troypt) came out with his new PAR meter and did some readings for me! I had to move my frag rack! They weren't getting enough light. It was pretty interesting. This is with the LED's on at 100% and without the VHO's. The VHO's add another 40 or so to all of the PAR values. Juiceman
Video Update Trying some Zeovit Coral Foods, seeing some slight differences but I'm only about 2 weeks in with very light dosing.
+Jakedoza
My LED PAR numbers seem insignificant now after seeing that.. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Juiceman
My LED PAR numbers seem insignificant now after seeing that.. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk I was surprised too. Remember that water clarity is a factor in par readings as well as flow. They're about 6-7" above the water, and its a 2' tall tank. I can't complain! Juiceman
Really liking the Coral reactions to the Zeofoods. Some examples I thought I'd lost this ORA Pocillapore when I did the move into this tank, it has bounced back nicely! I got the Green Mille at the Frag swap from Elegant Reef, it was brown when I got it! Got this ORA Chips Acro from Hydro! Looking foward to it taking off! I like this new one, Idk what it is though! started with 4 heads, now a year later, has 17! This was totally bleached 4 months ago! Austin Aqua Farms! Gotta Love'em! Got this Plum Crazy from Don! Awesome, Meridiana from Clint right next to it! Got this Pink Poccil from Dapettit, has double since! Started with 2 heads, a year later, has 8! Can't wait for this Blue Mille to grow! I always loved Yellow Leathers!
FarmerTy
Pretty sweet Juiceman. Chip's acro is definitely one of my favorites. That last one looks like a pink jade but too early to tell... might have to grow out a bit first to really know. Looks great man. -Ty
Juiceman
I have to turn off my Blue LED's to take my pictures. This is what the Green Mille would look like if I had the Blue LED's on. So it gives you the ideas of the true color it can show, but not quite since it overpowers the camera.

Juiceman
Well my acclimation chamber was a success! I saw little to NO chasing what so ever between my tangs. Lot's of fin flaring but nothing that could hurt any of the tangs. I don't have any other plans for tangs in this tank so I'm happy. I just fed them a few sheets of Nori and they all ate from it normally, and did some Sprinula Brine and they all gobbled it up without harassing anyone! I would recommend it to anyone! Juiceman
I had some inquiries about how I fed the Achilles. I have him in my 200g. 7x2x2 I didn't qt separate from my display. I had him in my acllimation chamber for 3 days with a piece of PVC to hide, and 5 days without PVC. I alternate between frozen and pellets everyday. I placed a sheet of nori to a rock in the chamber for him to graze everyday. He ate mysis and nori immediately. He eats the spurlina however you spell it brine well also. He eats a lot of nori and has nibbled at pellets. I will continue to alternate until he eats the pellets like the rest of my fish. I have him with a purple, yellow, hippo, and Sailfin tang and there is little aggression. I think nori is the key. I soak all frozen food in garlic and zoecon as well.
