hancockrich
HARKER HEIGHTS — A fire Thursday night required the use of an electrical generator to save several fish. Harker Heights Fire Department Capt. Jimmy Carson said the department loaned a generator to residents of a home in the 200 block of Arrowhead Drive after firefighters cut power to the home in response to what appeared to be an electrical fire. Firefighters responded to the home about 10 p.m., after the fire began in the attic, Carson said. Responders saved the home, but were concerned about several pet fish housed in a large aquarium inside the residence. To ensure their safety, the department loaned a generator to the residents. Power to the home was restored by Friday afternoon, and the homeowners returned the generator. http://www.kdhnews.com/news/story.aspx?s=63281
