edards1619
So I am new to the hobby and I know there is much to learn. I learned something last night and I thought I would share. When asking for directions never tell said person you are going to south Austin to buy rock. I said it and knew it sounded bad. I couldn't stop laughing about it. I get a small chuckle when I think back to it.
mFrame
What's hilarious is the other parallels with our hobby. Both are highly addictive and lead to you hiding the amount of money you spend on it from your spouse. My wife says that with crack, at least there are support groups and addiction programs. JamesL
But we are the support group. Oh wait, I guess most of us are pushers and suppliers (null)
Robb in Austin
The other fun part is doing sales in parking lots. You hand money to some one. They hand you a little baggie of stuff. I keep waiting to be pulled over after leaving but it hasn't happened yet.
innate1
and how goofy you feel asking someone if they are "fishlover69" in said parking lot.
mFrame
LOL. I've had that fear numerous times in parking lots, and always wonder if the person approaching me is bringing a coral or thinking that I'm a dealer.
