AquaJohn
if they stop spinning is it time to trash it and get a new one ? or can they be fixed I have not scraped all the caroline off of it yet so im not sure how they come apart or if they do. I probly should just step up and get another mp40 but its really only a small dead spot and a 2nd 40 would move more of my sand bed lol. Chad and Belinda
Sometimes, when we turn the pump off, it won't start spinning without a small nudge. You can twist the cover off but I have never considered going farther than that if that is even possible. Actually, we have never had one go out. They are great for those funky little dead spots. JasonJones
Soak it in white vinegar for a couple of hours. That should clean all the junk off. They are really easy to take apart and clean.
