Juiceman
I'm trying to make my chiller more efficient and I'm wondering if the mag 3 I'm using may be too slow. What gph should they be?
Juiceman
It's on a 90g tank, and it's a 1/4 hp chiller
(Bio)³
Look up the chillers manual, they should give you the best flow rate for the chiller, or at least a range to stay in.
Juiceman
It's only says a minimum of 400 lt/hr
(Bio)³
So your pump must be above that number but I wouldn't double it... 1.5 times their minimum would be a good place to shoot for. Doubling their number could reduce efficiency and going under definitely will. Just all IMHO, sure others will have their ideas of perfect flow also.
