There are three doors on the top, three on the bottom. I wanted unobstructed access to the top of the tank so the middle top door is hinged. All of the other doors simply pop on and off using cabinet clips. The middle top door is really heavy since it is as wide as the tank. Therefore we hinged it from the top and installed gas springs (like on a car hatchback) which effortlessly raises and holds the door open. While we could have used the adjoining garage for a 55g+ Fuge, we decided against it due to the hot Austin summer weather And clearly, this tank doesn't need the refugium. Gorgeous tank and awesome build all around. I would love to see a recent full tank shot as well as your frag tank. I might have to make some coral purchases from you Richard just to stop by and check everything out.
