polarbear
How do I remove polyps from my live rock? Do I scrape them off, cut? Do I need to take the rock out of the tank to do this? My fairy dust polyps are growing like crazy and spreading to other rocks that I don't want them on.
Aqua Girl
sounds like a high-class problem
Juiceman
I have just pulled them off. I have done this in the water and out. Will take a frag of those polyps if u pull some out.

polarbear
I could trade for some other polyps or zoas. I'll have close to about 20 polyps maybe more if I pull all them off without destroying any. Would be interested in other corals as well. PM me if your interested. +ACampbell
Just a friendly reminder that zoanthids have palytoxin. One of the most toxic organic substances in the world. Wear goggles and gloves when fragging.
polarbear
Thanks for the reminder. Will it be safe to frag these in the tank if they give off toxin?
Juiceman
Just make sure you're running carbon, shouldn't be a problem if they don't get murdered trying to get them off! lol

wesreyn
I would take a razor blade and cut them off. Try to scrape a thin layer of the rock underneath them and then just super glue them to a frag plug or small rock.
