ballistic.reefer
okay so time for another update, and i even got a cool story with this one.... so my friend was watching my fish, coral, and anemone for me. the sunday i was planning on picking it up i get a call and he says that my nem had hit his powerhead and got shredded, it sucked but hey i was thinking its okay bc he was nice enough to watch my stuff for me and has been nothing but helpful. he even offered to give me one after his split. but anyways a week later, when he went to do his water change he noticed that my a small part of nem had survived and was attached next to his skimmer and heater. well below is what it looks like now. everything in the tank seems to be doing well, and right now im just waiting for my parameters settle down, bc i just added some more fish before i get all my coral back. parameters are below, and that was before the new additions. nitrate: 10 nitrite: 0 ammonia: 0 ph: 8 alk: 8 calcium: 520 salinity: 1.026 enjoy the pics, and ill post up more pics when i get my sps back. ballistic.reefer
need yalls personal opinion. i redid the scape and want to know which yall like better. my old one or this new "minimalist" style, for a really open look. i cant decide. the older pics are in the thread and below is the new one. i havent gotten rid of my rocks yet and can put it all back if need be. let me know! also none of the corals are laid down. once i get what i want ill start gluing down all the sps Edited August 3, 2011 by ballistic.reefer
DerrickH
Looks great! Did you get the rock with the coraline already on it? I cant get this stuff to grow for squat
ballistic.reefer
a little but not much, just have a good regiment of alk and calcium in your tank and keep it consistent and throw some coraline scrapings around and it will grow like wildfire
