subsea
For years, I have dabbled with different variety of seaweed in my refugiums. Untill I came across tang heaven red and I realized that it was the same as "Red Ogo" or Gracilaria Parvispora, Now when I prune my refugiums I send out for Japanese Seaweed receipee. I grow my own Gracilaria Parvispora using indirect sunlight and subdud artificial light. Kim will assist me with some picture which she showed me how to take. subsea
This particular picture is a 75G tank on my outside poarch. I am circulating from the top left aross the long way. This produces a return current across the bottom from right to left which tumbles the seaweed. At present the mollies in the system hide amonghst the seaweed. Eating and producing live babies. I hope to sustain enough herbivores to clean nuisance hair algae and other micro-algae.
Robb in Austin
You should grow nori, whatever that is, and sell it to the local sushi shops!
subsea
Nori is Ulva. I have some growing now. I prefer the Red Ogo. Both would sell in the sushi shop.
