dshel1217 Posted April 9, 2011 Share Posted April 9, 2011 I was looking at putting a few pieces of mirco algae or plants in my display tank to add alittle color and some filteration. Also I dont have much in the way of light on my tank, only around 1.5 watts per gal. So basicaly looking for micro algae that is hardy, low light needs, looks good, and low change of going "sexual". +KimP Posted April 9, 2011 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Codium has very very low light requirements, little if any chance of going sexual, is a nice dark green that sort of glows because of fine "hairs"all over, and comes in at least 3 growing forms.
