marineman
I received a frag from a fellow reefer and it had not encrusted on a rock yet. I secured the colt to the rock with an elastic band 8 days ago. Tonight I tried to remove the elastic band. But, the elastic band had grown into the colt. I noticed this too late. As I tried to cut and remove the elastic band I ripped off the colt from the rock. So I reattached the colt back to the rock with the elastic band grown into it. My question is..... Should I leave the elastic band on permanently? How do I remove the elastic band without harming the colt? The colt has obviously shrunk now as I have really stressed it out. marineman
So..... What would you recommend I do? Remove the band? Leave it? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm new to all this.
+cyrus
I'm sure someone will chime in who has used them but I usually just wedge softies deep in a crack. As long as some part of it see's daylight it will attach and grow out. Try this on for size. http://www.garf.org/.../COLTmoves.html What color did you get? Toxiq Reef
You can remove it, it will heal. That's how many people frag softies
