Toxiq Reef
Has anyone used/use reef roids? Opinions?
Zarathustra2
I've been using it for over a year and really like it for my filter feeders. I drop it in the water that i mix the rest of the filter food in and it works great. The Gorgonian loves it. The sponges too. Same with the SPS. Zoos seem to go more for the cyclops or chopped up shrimps.
+dapettit
Some use it and rave about. I have used it but have not seen any benefit. If you want to try it I'll give you what I have left.
Reybeast
I got a Brain from Mac a year ago or so, he loves the roids!! he send out his little tendrils and gets fat!
FarmerTy
I've had pretty good success with it too. It definitely elicits a feeding response in most of my coral. If anything, I dose to feed the filter feeders and use it as a cue for the rest of the corals that it's time for dinner.
Toxiq Reef
Spot feed with this stuff or tank dose with powerheads off?
Reybeast
spot feed with power heads on, but main pump is off, so water is staying in main tank for about 20 mins.
+mcallahan
I used it and saw no real results other than polyp grabbing a piece every now and then. IMO, it wasn't worth the effort to target feed. You can have mine if you want. I have about 20% of a jar left
