+mcallahan
I took Hydro's advice and put a mirror in the fish trap. Unfortunately, it attracted the wrong fish and boy was he mad!! Watch it here
Brooks
Kinda sad ... but on the other hand, kinda funny! No luck on that mean six-line, eh Mark?

My chromis keeps him away since the wrasse is lowest on the pecking order I've concluded.
Brooks
Haha! How long do you plan to keep that fish trap in there?

Derek
Aww, the purple tang. He's so cool. Nice video. Are you running all actinics?
Brooks
till I get the dynamite. Hah! Just watched the skimmer video. Good info! And the ending was pretty funny too haha "How you doin?!"
tmelhiser
I've been wanting a six-line wrasse for a while... any reason you want him out of there? Dynamite might be a bit much... but I could just imagine a Texas Stadium Style event!
cmanning
What food did you place in the trap...for enticement. Have you tried a piece of krill or table shrimp?
+mcallahan
What food did you place in the trap...for enticement. Have you tried a piece of krill or table shrimp? I used mysis. Today the tang and chromis swim right into the trap, even w/out food, but the chromis continues to bully the wrasse away. I'm thinking the tang and chromis may have to come out of my tank long enough to get the wrasse to go in the trap. Of course, I've got a shipment of pods coming in tomorrow so I hope that the wrasse doesn't fill up on those...!

I don't know how well your setup would lend itself to this, but perhaps a plexiglass sheet inserted in the right place to separate the bullies from the wrasse for a bit while the trap has a chance to work? -t
+cyrus
I had to catch almost all of them to get the one. Just keep putting them in the sump until you get the one you want.

chrisfowler99
If I dropped brine shrimp in my tank I could probably get all five fish with a single scoop of a net.
