Zarathustra2
I have a work friend of mine who is getting started in saltwater in Ireland. He was complaining about the price and I didn't believe him until he sent me this link of THE ONLY LEGAL MARINE FISH STORE IN IRELAND. They are the only ones allowed to import into Ireland. Zarathustra2
EBAY I just did a quick look (i'm actually trying to help out my friend) and there are no livestock postings on ebay.ie. My understanding is that the livestock importation laws are so restrictive that the site posted here is literally the only one allowed in Ireland. So, if you had a monopoly on fish what would you charge. Something about them being paranoid living in an island state. Though I cant imagine anything reef related being able to survive in the waters around england... well, maybe caleurpa or something.
Christian
Some anemones live around englan. And you can buty the anemones too. You just have to keep the tank colder.
Zarathustra2
I understand that there are cold water anenomes out there but I just don't think they are building reefs in the english channell. Though that would be cool. If you want to see one of my favorite tanks for a similar thing check out Dave from epic reefs gulf coast tank. I know he was planning on shutting it down soon so no time like the present.
+Melissa
If I lived in Ireland, I guess I would be a FW kinda gal. Makes me grateful for where I live, though I do wish some species weren't forbidden here.
