richie reef
I have a 40 gal reef tank with almost 20 gal sump and starting to introduce some of the harder corals to maintain. I am wanting to learm more from water chemistry and what kind of kits to monitor Calcium and I think hardness. I have just begun to learn these parameters and need to study how to maintain them and what are the better kits to use and to avoid to monitor them. Also, I was wanting to upload a picture of my tank but, it seems it will not let me create a new album due to: The following errors were found, please correct them: You are not allowed to post images in this category so there is no reason for you to create an album in it One more thing is that if you join ARC you get 10% off some of the local shops...if that is so please sign me up. I have purchase several items from River city. Thanks and Happy Reefing! Richard

+KeeperOfTheZoo
Pretty tank Richard! I'm impressed that your tank is doing so well and you're just now getting into checking all water parameters. Goes to show you don't have to be totally obsessive to grow out a nice tank. I need to practice that sort of reef keeping! LOL!

richie reef
I can be kind of obsessive when it comes down to taking care of my tank. I still need to get a better handle on my cleaning. I have been thinking getting some more clean-up crew. Probably do another order on Reefs2go. Having problems keeping my sand clean. It becomes all hard. I am guessing that is detrieus that is making it like that. Still haven't had any luck creating photo albums in my gallery to upload some of my pictures. What am I doing wrong? Keeps telling me that I am not allowed to post images in this category so there is no reason for you to create an album in it. Did manage to get signed up for the ARC. Guess I missed my first meeting which was last night. Too bad I've been working nights. Will try to make it for the next show! Looking forward to the discounts! Also, I have a few frags that I fragged a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking about trading for new stuff to add to my tank. Guess I should get some pics and post it in the forum! JamesL
It sounds like you might be trying to create an album in a place where only admins can. You can try this: Click on the the "Gallery" link at the top of the page. Scroll down and click on "Members Gallery". Then click on the "New Album" button in the upper right corner of the page. From here, give it a name, and click on the "Public Album" check box if you want to have others see it. Then click on "Create Album", and that should get you going. Let me know if you still have issues.
