Looks kind of like what some of my zoas do before they melt away. Don't ever know what causes the melting but at least they don't usually all melt away. -Ty

I vaguely remember what a sandbed looks like in my tank. I want my beach back! Getting rid of the random frags in the Spring Frag-off Part 1! Part 2 and 3 will come later and involve cutting SPS and zoa frags. Here's what I got sitting around: Unidentified SPS mini colony I got from Wizard (Tim) - $20 -sold Baby fungia plates (nickel to quarter size expanded) - $10 -all sold Cali Tort frags (have 3 of them) - $10 -all sold Random SPS frag I got from Wizard (Tim) - $5 ***it is browned out from being in my sump under 10k lighting for the past 4 months. -sold Fully encrusted frag plug and branching colony of purple valida - $15 -sold Mother colony Frag -sold Mini colony of blue polyp digitata (4" tall multibranch) - $20, random smaller multi-branch piece for $5 (not pictured) Fully encrusted purple meridiana frag - $15 -sold MIKE PALETTAS Turquiose Lovelli encrusted frag - $15 -sold Pink Jade multibranch frag 3" - $25 -sold

82-83 is what I usually keep mine at but I think most aim for 78-80. -Ty

Yeah, get a 2nd opinion first to confirm before you start altering anything. Just take some water to one of our LFS and have then confirm the high pH reading. My 2 cents. -Ty

Thank you for sharing. I have a mostly SPS dominant tank so I will be aiming for some good, strong, and random flow. I guess I will give another week on the group buy but if it doesn't happen by then, its ebay time. Where did you get the dimmers from?
