  1. Premium aquatics looks to be doing the same thing. Maybe Kessil discounted it wholesale.
  2. +1. I grabbed the phosphorus checker which detects to the ppb level. You just have to convert the reading to ppm phosphate afterwards though but its simple.
  3. No problem Kim! I see you went with the 1-yr old babble soundtrack. Haha! Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  4. That porcelain crab is somehow mesmerizing and altogether creepy at the same time.
  5. The ones you got from me are fire and ice.
  6. Have fun with the demolition! It's always my favorite part of doing house projects.
  7. I feel so ahead of the game with my 2 new urchin additions last week!
  8. Looks great! Can't wait to see it all together!
  9. Pretty sweet Thai! I like non-traditional tanks!
  10. I got one about 3-4" and would love to have the large hippo if nutz4fish doesn't grab it. I have a 210 gallon he would love to swim around. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  11. No no, you're supposed to post videos, not comment! Haha. Let's see some videos! Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  12. This is not the anemone you are looking for... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  13. I just went on a rant earlier about people not using enough video on this board so I figured, why not start a thread where people can post their Full Tank Videos! I'll start! Here's my old tank: I'll update with a video of my new tank once all my SPS are happy again and I get all my corals back. Who else wants to play? -Ty
  14. I appreciate you using video. I'm surprised more people on the club don't! Most have smartphones these days capable of HD video and we barely even get photos on this board. That's my official whine to have more videos on this board! Forget FTS, give me a 1:00 video of your tank! Don't forget the cheesy background music... okay, enough of a thread hijacking.
  15. To add to all the fun, odd things happening in my tank since I upgraded. My anemone split to my dismay... but I did catch it doing this. Have it in HD and around 1:00 the most easily noticeable stuff happens. Forgive the music but I could not help using it since the name of the song is "anemone". I'll have to apologize on the behalf of my fish... they have no manners and like to video bomb my work.
  16. I heard the owner talks too much and his fish room is much too small.
  17. Thanks bud. Hopefully the magic will stay alive with my new tank.
  18. Sorry Thai! That's everyone's worst nightmare! If you need to store anything, let me know. I can try to make room in the sump.
  19. Welcome to the club! Club members Subsea and Sascha usually have a bunch of interesting types of macros on hand. I'm sure they'll chime in. Vincent-Thai was selling some dragon's breath a couple weeks back so I'd imagine he might be selling some more soon. Niko's Reef in Pflugerville also has a bunch at his store and he might be able to order you the money cowry. -Ty
  20. There's Fishy Business and Niko's Reef as well.
  21. I'll PM so as to not hijack Rob's build thread. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  22. In a tank setting, I would say it is more the exception than the norm that corals will reproduce via sexual reproduction. Most of our frags that get sold on the forums are through asexual budding/fragmentation.
  23. Hi Joel, welcome to the club. You are getting some great input and advice here for lighting. As I always suggest, you can run through lighting choices all day long until your eyes get crossed-eyed but seeing a tank, which has the look you want, and the corals you want, and see what lighting they run is the best option if you can apply it. That way you know what end result you can get with the lighting you buy and you are happy with it.
