Hello ARC community! I just wanted to pass along the exciting news if you haven't already noticed, but I have moved to a smaller, boutique brokerage, Austin City Realty, as I liked their business mentality of customers first! I also missed the more intimate feel and comradre of a smaller company and ACR was the perfect fit. Oddly enough, the acronym is close enough to our very own ARC (some might say that is why I chose to join the brokerage) that occasionally I switch it in my email address, [email protected]. Anyways, just wanted to mention it to everyone that I am with a new company now, same great service, same ol' Ty, just with a new email address and some fancy new business cards. I will be changing up the referral system as well, as I have something very new and exciting to introduce to everyone on the club. You're going to love it! Thank you Kim! That was very kind of you to share your experience and it makes me really happy that you and Brad were satisfied with the level of service I gave you! That definitely was an exciting day at close, right in the trenches... that's definitely a story I still tell to all my Realtor friends. What Kim and Brad fail to mention is that they were the coolest clients to have, so chill (even their baby was chill!), so willing to work with people, very conscientious of the other party in the transaction, and just a pleasure to work with. It was fun to geek it out with Brad with the drone and people's movie collections and to nerd it out with Kim regarding possible tank locations, setups, and potential upgrades! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to earn your business and for the fun times during the whole process! I love my job and I hope all my future clients are Kim's and Brad's!

I grew it in honor of my deceased fishes. I also lost all my hair on the top of my head from the stress of the upgrade. Thanks for the point out. I'll get my graphics guy on that. The banner had to be reformatted for the size restriction on the forum and my mug got all hacked up in the process.

Thanks all. I am truly bummed, knowing more so because I directly caused their deaths. My wife and I will be having a memorial for the fishes this morning and giving them a proper burial. The tank looked so empty last night without Delilah (my sailfin), Twitch (the foxface), and the crew of chromis.

I don't know why, but Juiceman's girlfriend's words are echoing in my head right now. "You guys should just leave your tanks alone and stop playing God with them!"

With the ups comes the downs! I'm sad to report that my giant desjardini sailfin, my foxface, and 2 chromis are no longer with us. It's entirely user error too, as I was in a rush this morning and didn't take the time to measure my vokda dose and just poured some in there. The resulting bacterial bloom killed them by asphyxiation. I didn't even realize it either, thought they were all just sleeping on their sides (as they are prone to do sometimes) when I got back in the afternoon but the lights weren't fully on so I couldn't tell. I feel awful... that sailfin has been with me for almost 3 years now! Sad day!

What's all this Tankfucious and Farmer Ty business!? Austin Aqua Farms definitely has some nice high-end pieces. I like the fish selection at Aquadome, the great frag finds at RCA, the locally available high end additives/equipment at Aquatek, and the great random finds at Niko's (especially their LPS collection). My own tank is in restocking mode after the great upgrade calamity of 2014! That feather star is awesome, and much respect for catering to its needs!
